LandIt ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use the LandIt iOS app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Your name and email address when you sign up via email, Apple, or Google.
• Usage data: Which features you use (interview sessions, resume analyses, cover letters) to enforce free tier limits and verify your subscription status.
• Content you provide: Job descriptions, resume text, and cover letter inputs you submit to generate AI-powered results.

Saved jobs, interview questions, and usage counters are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage and are not uploaded to our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To authenticate you securely via Apple or Google
• To generate AI-powered interview questions, resume analyses, and cover letters using your inputs
• To verify and manage your subscription status
• To improve the app through aggregated, anonymized analytics

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

LandIt uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — user authentication and account storage (privacy policy)
• OpenAI — AI generation of interview questions, resume feedback, and cover letters (privacy policy)
• RevenueCat — subscription management and purchase verification (privacy policy)
• Apple — Sign In with Apple and App Store payments (privacy policy)
• Google — Sign In with Google (privacy policy)

Content you submit (job descriptions, resume text) is sent to OpenAI solely to generate your requested output. OpenAI does not use API inputs to train its models by default.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your account credentials are stored securely using the iOS Keychain via Expo SecureStore. Account data is hosted on Supabase's secure infrastructure with HTTPS encryption in transit.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Locally stored data (saved jobs, usage counters) remains on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data

To delete your account, contact us at support.landit@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Note: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your App Store subscription. You must cancel separately through your Apple ID settings.

6. Children's Privacy

LandIt is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
